“The Yale School of Drama has announced that it will partner with the Yale School of Music to create a new breeding ground for musicals, the Yale Institute for Music Theatre.
“Veteran director Mark Brokaw will serve as artistic director of the Institute for Music Theatre, which has aligned with producer Beth Morrison ‘to identify distinctive and original music theatre works by emerging writers and composers, and to serve those writers by matching them with collaborators such as directors, music directors, and actors/singers who can help them further develop their work.'”
