Powell pleads not guilty to theft of $18K in art Martine Powers Yale Daily News 3/27/08

“Four months after being arrested for stealing $18,000 worth of art from a Yale greenhouse, Jodonell Powell pleaded not guilty to 27 criminal charges at a plea hearing Wednesday morning.”

And on the Korean art historian who falsely claimed she received an Art History degree from Yale:

“Yale has apologized repeatedly for its error in confirming that Shin Jeong-ah, who is now on trial in Korea for forgery, actually attended the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. But Dongguk officials remain unsatisfied: To compensate, the university is demanding the Connecticut District Court award it no less than $50 million in damages from Yale.”
