Matej Andraz Vogrincic’s boats (New Haven)

‘Boats’ to again fill Farmington Canal, Ed Stannard, New Haven Register 5/29/07

According to New Haven’s Site Projects website, Vogrincic chose the Canal especially because “it remains a forgotten place in the middle of a vibrant, modern downtown.” The boats are also a tribute to “another icon of New Haven and America’s industrial heritage: the Erector Set.”
