Enough power to make 9,000,000 cups of tea!

The CIS Tower in Manchester, England will employ 7,000 solar-panels and 24 roof-mounted wind turbines to produce renewable energy for itself and an attached office-building. Even that will only cover 10 percent of its energy use.

From the official website: “The solar panels, which, despite popular misgivings, will work regardless of the Manchester weather, will help combat climate change and generate an amazing 180,000 units of electricity each year – enough energy to make 9,000,000 cups of tea.”
