Could this skyscraper feed New York City?

Some of you might remember buildings like the skyscraper above from the video game Sim City 2000, which featured a type of ecological architecture known as arcology. If Dr. Dickson Despommier of Columbia University is right, this utopian vision will be realized within fifteen years.
