National Landscape Architecture Month!

The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) is encouraging students to consider a career in landscape architecture, by designating April as National Landscape Architecture Month.

From the official website: “With only 30,000 landscape architects currently in the U.S. and the sustained growth in demand for landscape architecture services, there are major opportunities for young people considering entering the profession.”

  1. Important to consider Landscape Architecture to create sustainable, envirnomentally friendly landscapes that add to the site house structure’s compatibility to surroundings.

  2. So funny, these promotional months…April is also National Poetry Month, and–according to Wikipedia–Mathematics Awareness Month, Autism Awareness Month, Chocolate Eaters Month, VD Awareness Month, and a host of other things….
